It all began with two friends.

Mel and Caroline are a couple of long-term friends who sat around one day and talked about how schools and institutions generally were veering away from traditional values.

Now these girls are ‘make it happen’ people so they came up with an idea for a new approach to inspiring parents and care providers to help build kids love of reading and magical times.

These 2 friends have done a lot of life together and between them raised 6 kids with 4 grandchildren now in the picture. They are still deeply committed to, and still excited about kids, play, fun and reading.

And they know that kids thrive when adults know these things;

• An imagination that can run wild at times is powerful rocket fuel for a creative and curious mind

• Kids should not be continually exposed to inappropriate or overly scary or adult content

• Adults who engage with kids through stories and fun, create great memories

• Self esteem is significantly impacted by good reading skills

• Kids who are encouraged to read absolutely do better in later life

• Traditional family values really support the spiritual, emotional and social health of our kids!
